Description
This award honors the life and continues the work of Constance Coiner, PhD (1987), who died along with her daughter, Ana Duarte-Coiner, on TWA Flight 800, in June of 1996.

Criteria
- Applicant must be an upper-division student at UCLA
- Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Applicant must demonstrate an active commitment to both working-class and feminist issues and involvement in community activities for social change.
Note
Award recipient must be able to attend the CSW Awards luncheon. This year's event is June 2012.
Special Note

- Students who are receiving financial aid should consult with the Financial Aid Office. If you are selected as a recipient of this award, your financial aid package may be subject to revision.

- Curriculum Vitae
- UCLA Transcript (unofficial is acceptable)
- Letters of recommendation from two faculty members (one letter for academic/teaching work, and one letter for community work). The letters should be mailed to CSW in a sealed envelope with the recommender’s signature across the back flap. Mailing information is provided in the application form.
